The DSPA 8-1, DSPA 8-1-60, and 8-2 aerosol generators can be used as components of highly effective fire extinguishing systems. The DSPA generator is pressure-free and is intended for installation in the space or compartment requiring protection. After activation, an aerosol cloud is created, which spreads volumetrically, flooding the space and extinguishing the fire. DSPA generators are primarily designed for use in normally unoccupied and uninhabited areas, and are effective against Class A, B, C, and F (K) fires. The DSPA 8-1-60 has an exceptionally fast discharge time of under 60 seconds, while the DSPA 8-1 and DSPA 8-2 operate with a slower discharge time and thus build up less pressure.
