This detailed product description refers to the excellent quality NiMoCr welding wire offered by Wieländer+Schill, specifically developed to meet the highest professional requirements, especially in the field of automotive repairs and welding of fine-grain steels.
A NiMoCr Welding Wire A consumable electrode made from a low-alloy steel, primarily recommended for MAG (Metal Active Gas) shielded arc welding. It is specifically optimized for welding hardened and tempered fine-grain structural steels with a yield strength of approximately 700 MPa. This wire is the ideal choice for the repair and joining of critical structural components where excellent mechanical properties and reliability across a wide temperature range are essential.
The welded joint is excellently applicable in an operating temperature range between -50 °C and 350 °C, which provides significant flexibility during operations performed under various environmental conditions.
The quality of the welding process significantly depends on the shielding gas used. To achieve optimal welding quality and the most favorable mechanical values, M21 mixed gas is recommended, combined with appropriate welding parameters.
Welding can be performed in both short-circuit and spray arc modes, which provides flexibility for different welding positions and material thicknesses.
To achieve a successful and durable welded joint, the following heat treatment recommendations must be strictly followed:
Preheating Temperature: The extent of preheating depends on the base material.
Interpass Temperature: Ensuring controlled heat input is critically important. The interpass temperature must not exceed 180 °C to maintain continuous quality.
For MAG welding, the following mixed gases can be used:
M20
M21 (Optimal Choice)
M24
M26

The welding wire on a D200 type plastic spool is introduced to the market in a net 5 kg package.
Further available packaging: K300 plastic spool, with a weight of 15 kg.
For supporting the precise welding process, the following accessory product is recommended:
Centering adapter for D200 wire spool (Item No: 307004)
This centering adapter set is essential for the correct mounting of D200 size wire spools on the mandrel, ensuring that the wire can run straight and unimpeded into the wire feeder. This minimizes wire breakage and feeding problems, contributing to continuous and flawless welding.
This NiMoCr welding wire is part of the Wieländer+Schill welding technology portfolio, guaranteeing reliable and durable joints even for the most demanding structural steels.
