To achieve maximum performance, the following accessories are also available (not part of the basic package):
1. Welding wire SG2 Ti vb | Ø 0.8 mm | D200 | 5 kg (Part No.: 311074)
This bronze-coated, low-carbon steel wire (Ø 0.8 mm) is excellently suited for MAG welding of unalloyed and low-alloyed steels, especially for bridging factory primers, zinc coatings, and rusted surfaces. The weld seam is resistant to aging and can be used at operating temperatures between -10 °C and 450 °C. Suitable shielding gases (EN ISO 14175): CO2 or M22, M33, M21, M23 mixed gases.
2. Welding wire NiMoCr | Ø 0.8 mm | D200 | 5 kg (Part No.: 311036)
Low-alloy steel wire (Ø 0.8 mm), ideal for MAG welding of hardened and tempered fine-grained structural steels (up to approx. 700 MPa yield strength). The welded material can be used at temperatures between -50 °C and 350 °C. Optimal welding quality is achieved using M21 mixed gas. Controlled heat input is important, the interpass temperature must not exceed 180 °C. Suitable shielding gases: M20, M21, M24, M26 mixed gases.
3. Welding wire AlSi12 | Ø 1.0 mm | D200 | 2 kg (Part No.: 311080)
Aluminum-silicon alloy (aluminum casting alloys) wire (Ø 1.0 mm), suitable for TIG and MIG welding of aluminum-silicon alloys. For TIG, Argon I1 is recommended, for MIG, Argon I1 or Argon-Helium I3 mixed gases are recommended.
4. Welding wire AlSi5 | Ø 1.0 mm | D200 | 2 kg (Part No.: 311078)
Aluminum-silicon alloy wire (Ø 1.0 mm), for TIG and MIG welding. The weld seam must be metallically clean. For large workpieces and wall thicknesses above 15 mm, preheating to 150 °C – 200 °C is recommended. Shielding gases: TIG – Argon I1, MIG – Argon I1 and Argon-Helium I3 mixtures.
MIG-MAG torch holder with magnetic base (Item no: 311043): Ensures safe and stable storage for welding torches.
