The goal of the TSHB-001 tester is to minimize the costs of replacing the entire battery pack by accurately identifying faulty cells and enabling their selective repair or replacement. The device is capable of charging the cells to the required level and balancing the entire cell set (balancing), similar to the function performed by the vehicles themselves during in-situ battery maintenance.
Important note regarding the Li-ion function: The device is currently optimized for testing Ni-Mh cells. Functions related to testing Lithium-Ion cells are under development and will become optionally available to device owners via software updates.
