How soon will I receive feedback?

We typically reply within 0–48 hours. For urgent inquiries, please write „URGENT” in the message, and we will prioritize it accordingly.

What happens after sending the message?

We record the message, and the colleague corresponding to the topic will contact you. If clarification is needed (e.g., measuring environment, load, installation), we will clarify the necessary data in a short consultation.

What should be provided in the initial inquiry?

The intended use and the environment are the most important: what, where, and how often it is used.

Especially useful for scales: load range, site conditions, and the requirement for data reading/reporting.

How does the customized quotation request process work?

Based on the inquiry and requirements, we prepare the offer. If necessary, we conduct an on-site survey/inspection for precise specifications.

What most influences the final price?

Typically: quantity, special parameters, installation length, and required labor.

Are there package deals or volume-based discounts?

Yes, volume-based discount is available (e.g., for fire protection products depending on the number of pieces and the same size). Please inquire about our availability for details.

What payment options are available?

We typically start with a 50% prepayment, the remaining amount can be settled upon receipt/installation, or full prepayment can also be chosen.

Is financing possible?

We tailor payment structures to the nature of the project. If financing is required, we can review the possible solution during consultation.

What lead times should I expect?

Product and manufacturer dependent. Illustrative examples:
– Scales: 6–9 weeks
– Extraction systems: 8–10 weeks
– Lifts: 3–6 weeks
– Fire protection/thermal insulation solutions: 2–3 weeks, or available from stock

Why might the lead time change?

The manufacturer's commitment, the specific configuration, and the implementation requirements determine the lead time. For larger projects, we agree on milestones in advance.

Is there an expedited solution for urgent needs?

If an alternative is available in stock, we suggest a configuration that keeps the deadline more achievable. We coordinate this along with the technical requirements.

How is the process of a complete project structured?

Inquiry → needs assessment → quotation → (if necessary) on-site survey/visit → design → contract/order → installation → training/handover → final invoicing.

To what extent can the solution be customized?

Fully customized, based on the specific environment and requirements.

Is a trial run or pilot installation possible?

It is not typical, but a pilot project may be feasible for scale requirements if requested.

How is the training and onboarding conducted?

With on-site handover and operational training, tailored to the specific system.

Who participates in the consultation and implementation?

A specialist colleague appropriate for the topic: the goal is to quickly clarify the technical questions needed for decision-making, and the implementation also follows the same specification.

Based on what criteria should a weighing system be chosen?

Frequency of use, the object to be weighed and its weight, site conditions/circumstances.

Depending on this, we recommend HAENNI or Giropes manufactured scales with different software integration options, depending on whether the goal is axle weighing or gross weight measurement.

What is the difference between static and dynamic measurement?

Static measurement: the vehicle/load stops on the scale.
Dynamic measurement: the measurement takes place while driving over (WIM type).

What accuracy and load capacity can I expect?

Product dependent. Guiding examples:
– For mobile systems: 2–10 t / load base (depending on type)
– Increment: 20 kg is common, there is also a 5 kg version (not necessarily verifiable)
– For load cells: the load capacity is configuration-dependent (can be up to 100 tons)

Can the measuring system be integrated into ERP or automation?

Yes, via software, through an API. During consultation, we clarify the data path and export/report requirements so that the measurement result can actually be used in the process.

Do you perform periodic verification and maintenance?

Yes. For mobile scales, verification is typically required every 2 years, and maintenance is part of documented operation.

What standards and compliance are typical for the scales?

Metrological/standard requirements for the specific application may be guiding (e.g., OIML). During consultation, we clarify the relevant compliance and documentation.

What extraction/exhaust systems are available?

Extraction solutions are available for workshops, inspection stations, and industrial facilities. The exact selection is based on the points of use and the location.

What fluid management solutions do you handle?

Fluid management solutions are available for both workshop and industrial use. During consultation, we clarify the fluid type, dispensing/collection points, and operational requirements.

Is a fixed installation or a workstation-level solution better?

Both are possible. The decision is determined by the frequency of use, the number of workstations, site conditions, and maintenance requirements.

What lifting solutions are available?

The choice depends on the application (passenger car/commercial vehicle, installed or recessed solution). We suggest a suitable type based on the requirements.

What is needed to prepare for installed lifts?

The installation location, the foundation, and the site conditions are critical. During consultation, let's clarify the possibilities of the installation area, the load-bearing capacity, and the execution conditions.

Is it possible to have a custom solution or special design?

Yes, the solutions can be customized based on the specific environment and requirements.

What certifications do the fire and heat protection solutions have?

Depending on the type of solution, fire protection classifications and tests (e.g., A1 according to DIN EN 13501-1) and further specific tests (e.g., NFPA701, ASTM D6413, DIN SPEC 91489) are available. The concrete compliance requirement will be specified during consultation.

What is heat protection for and what is fire protection for?

For heat protection, the goal is to reduce heat impact and protect the workspace. For fire protection, the goal is to mitigate risk and damage in critical situations.

How do we select the appropriate protection solution?

Based on the application risk, the environment, and the expected compliance. During consultation, we clarify the heat load, the affected area, and the required documentation.

What maintenance and service options are available?

Maintenance of scales, hoists, extraction systems, and related devices, calibration of scales, as well as remote monitoring and servicing upon request.

What happens in case of malfunction or urgent operational failure?

We organize intervention depending on the product: we typically respond within 1–4 working days. For mobile scales, the service time is usually 1–2 weeks.

Is there a long-term operation and support contract available?

Yes, there is a possibility.

Do you perform remote checks or diagnostics?

Yes, where the system supports it, remote access for inspection and servicing is also possible.

What warranty applies to the products?

Typically manufacturer's warranty, generally 12 months. The exact conditions are product- and manufacturer-dependent, and we specify them clearly in the offer.

How are quality and traceability ensured?

We operate based on a quality assurance logic (PDCA). Installation is performed by specialists, and for scales, official metrological certification with complete documentation supports traceability.

What does „PDCA” mean in practice?

Plan → Do → Check → Act. The goal is for technical parameters, installation, and handover to occur according to the same controlled specification.

Which standards and compliances might be relevant?

Depending on the product and application, various standards and compliance requirements may be applicable (e.g., OIML for scales; DIN EN 13501-1 for certain fire protection solutions). We clarify what is relevant for the specific case during consultation.
